Poetry and Essay Story: Missing
Missing
A lot of time has passed
After that, all I could think of was longing
My heart is full without you
Fragrant memories
It makes me look back on my mind
It's a night full of longing
Time without you is never happy for me
with broken promises
My heart is breaking, crying
Where you are
I wanted to ask
The longing is getting cut like a thorn
But I wish you happiness
It will remain in my heart forever
I remember you for the rest of my life,
I'll live in longing.
Isn't longing perhaps the same feeling as returning home after a trip? When I first go on a trip, the things I met there come back to life, staying in my heart. The same goes for longing. Missing is a feeling that reminds me of those memories and stories that I couldn't go to every night in bed. The longing is also so unrealistic, it makes our hearts faint.
However, feeling nostalgic is not a bad thing. Rather, longing makes us realize that life is more precious than anything else, with the memories that remain in our hearts. Missing comes from separation or separation, and it is a heart that cannot forget each other and misses each other, but this can eventually be an opportunity to meet again.
Also, memories melted in longing always make us look back. The memories may sometimes feel like gifts that we don't have. But we can grow only when those memories are in our hearts. We should live more meaningful lives by living the days that connect with the past. I think this is the everyday aesthetic that exists with longing.
