겨울이 찾아왔네 김장 준비가 시작을 알리며
단아한 배추 잎을 한 장 한 장 골라내어
소금을 뿌리며 쌓아올리는 시간

손에 차가운 물이 스며들어
깨끗한 도마 위에
칼을 갈아낸다

마음을 비운 채, 고요한 마음으로
배추를 갈라 내어
매듭짓듯이 싸매는 작업

어릴 적 첫사랑이 떠오르는 소리
김장 시즌을 알리는 냄새
집안 가득히 퍼져나가는 따뜻함

김장은 언제나 소중한 시간
사랑하는 사람과 나누는 순간
한 해의 마무리와 새로운 시작

김장이 끝나면 김치는 더 맛있게
사랑은 더욱 더 가까이
사랑하는 마음은 가득해져 미래로 간다
